The 2nd Edition of India Art Festival, a modern and contemporary art fair, concluded in December 2012 at MMRDA Ground, BKC, Mumbai. The second edition of India Art Festival brought together 40 art galleries and 500 professional artists from fifty major cities in six countries.

The 2nd edition of India Art Festival received more than 47 000 visitors during five days of the festival and became the first art fair in western & southern India to receive the highest number of visitors in five days.

Out of 175 booths in the art festival, 85% booths recorded good sales. 50% first time art buyers visited the art festival, strengthening its position as a premier art fair in the region. Mumbai - India's commercial capital is not only the city with the highest GDP in India but it ranks among the world's top ten trade centers and contributes 25% of Industrial output and 70% of capital transactions to India's economy. Mumbai is the cultural and art production centre too with booming art market, flourishing real estate and thriving film industry.

The third edition of India Art Festival is scheduled to be hosted at the Nehru Centre, worli, Mumbai. The venue for third edition of India Art Festival shifted back to its first edition venue which is the centrally located in Mumbai. The third edition of IAF venue promises to see huge number of corporate honchos, HNI population, art collectors, artists, galleries and audiences from India and overseas.
